A Rainbow Nations Football match or tournament in Turkey.

A motor sport event initiated by Green Motor Sport including the Bosphorus bridges.

A World Cycling event including the Bosphorus bridges.

Musical Recording

NPP propose a musical recording of John Lennon's "All we are saying is give peace a chance" involving Turkish musicians.

Rainbow Road

NPP propose the painting of a long straight road, perhaps in Texas, as a complementary exercise to the Rainbow Bridge peace project. For Rainbow Bridge, one must be under and look up at the bridge. For Rainbow Road, one requires and aerial view to look down.

UK TV to Turkey

NPP plan to tour an exhibition of paintings and images highlighting major themes of peace from Turkey and raise the awareness level between Turkey and the UK, the EU, the USA and the wider world.

This exhibition aims to create a positve profile for Turkey's EU relationship and highlight the country in readiness for her to become the EU Cultural capital in 2010.

Our inspirations include:

- the 7 peaceful colours of the rainbow which appeared in the skies above Mount Ararat in present day Eastern Turkey along with the dove and olive branch representing universal symbols of peace

- the Mevlevi movement founded in Konya gives Turkey a tailor-made peace slogan for her tourism industry: Come, come who ever you are, however you are, just come.

- Ataturk founded the secular democratic Republic of Turkey 1923 consisting of 7 internal regions and touched by 7 bordering countries: Greece, Bulgaria, Armenia, Georgia, Iran, Iraq and Syria. He left us all with a standard bearer quote applicable for all peace minded nations throughout the world: Peace at home, peace in the world.

Mankind has never attained liberty to this extent and never will because as is known, men are creations of nature and nature itself is not absolutely free either; it is subject to universal laws.”

Piri Reis

Produce a film about Ottoman Admiral Piri Reis. This is the idea of Turkish film maker Gulsah Celiker and NPP would like support the realisation of this project.

Gasthorpe Church ruin

I propose to purchase the Gasthorpe Church site and rebuild the ruined church to create an art gallery.

Encouraging communication from Diocese of Norwich...

Dear NPP,

I am Secretary of the Redundant Churches Uses Committee which deals with change of use of redundant church buildings in the Diocese of Norwich. I have been informed of your interest in purchasing Gasthorpe church ruin for conversion into an art gallery.

I am sure you realise that, as well as the Diocese of Norwich, you will need permissions from several other bodies, i.e. Breckland District Council, the Church Commissioners, English Heritage etc. I think, therefore, that the first thing you need to do is to write to Breckland District Council explaining your proposal to them. This letter should explain in detail your plans for the building and give the reasons why you feel this is a desirable way forward, and should also describe how you intend to convert the ruin and what you expect the completed building to look like. It would be very helpful if you could include a sketch prepared by an architect showing your proposals.

This is just the first stage in a long process which has to be gone through step by step. Without Breckland District Council's willingness to go along with the proposals there is very little point in going any further. However, if you are able to persuade them to look positively at the project, we could then proceed to the next stage.
